THE THING
Arguably (though who would actually argue) John Carpenter's best film. Kurt Russel is amazing to watch as the lead role of MacReady, who along with a stellar cast have to play a game of whodunnit til they find out, AND OH DO THEY FIND OUT. We're playing this 3 nights in a row for a reason. Because it's awesome. If you wanted to know why...
AVP: ALIEN VS PREDATOR
Okay... a lot of people give this film flack. But if you're a fan of either Alien or Predator franchises this is one to watch with big sound and some popcorn. Directed by Paul W. S. Anderson who brought us action pop hits like the OG Mortal Kombat and the Resident Evil movies, it's entertaining action from 2 of the biggest action franchises around.
COOL RUNNINGS
John Candy goes to Jamaica and coaches some guys to become bob sledders in the olympics. Based on a true story. It sounds absurd and it's hilariously absurd. This is nostalgia in a movie. We cannot wait to watch this again.
