SCI-FI SEPT WEEK 1

Our SCI-FI SEPTEMBER WEEK ONE program is out! Happening at the Kingborough Community Hub and presented in collaboration with Kingborough Council, the program incorporates Father's Day on Sunday 6th of September. As usual we'll be bringing our theatre seats and bean bags to the Hub along with all the goodies that make it a flippin' good Rewind kinda time! Our top picks are: HARDWARE - 80s Richard Stanley with some oh-so-unique cracking Sci-Fi. Umbrella recent 4K release is going to look SUH-WEET. Followed by ROBOCOP for a nice "man & the machine" 80s robot sci-fi pairing. GALAXY QUEST Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman, Sam Rockwell, Tony Shalhoub... This movie is an hilariously fun time. Cannot recommend coming out to watch this one with a bunch of peeps and sharing a laugh enough! This'll one'll be fun. ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL UGH!! This movie ROCKS! Family friendly for sure. Director Robert Rodriguez (From Dusk Til Dawn, El Mariachi, Desperado, Spy Kids, Sin City) brings his A-game to this futuristic action packed blockbuster and we cannot wait to screen it in 4K with our big screen and sound system. Popcorn munchin' fun!
